We’re Number 120! Boxman Studios Joins Inc. 500.
August 21, 2014
We’re proud to announce that Boxman Studios was just ranked the #120 fastest growing company by Inc. Magazine in their annual Inc. 500 edition featuring the fastest growing privately held companies in the United States. The news comes on the heels of being named the Fastest Growing privately held company in Charlotte for 2012.
“Being included on the Inc. 500 list is a great honor, and confirmation that we’ve created a concept that resonates with people” said Boxman Studios CEO David Campbell. “It’s humbling to know that Boxman Studios is listed alongside some of the most iconic companies and innovative business leaders in America.”
Boxman Studios is on the list this year with new entries GoPro, Tough Mudder and Fuhu. List alumni include category leaders Microsoft, Oracle, Intuit, Zappos, Clif Bar, Chobani, and Under Armour.
Founded in 2009, Boxman Studios has experienced three-year growth of 3,074%, tripled their employee count, and relocated to a 65,000 square foot warehouse and office space. They design, build, and transport modified shipping container solutions for global brands such as Nike, Samsung, IMG College, Hyundai, Oreo, and many others.
“It’s been a whirlwind five years, that’s for sure,” says CMO Jim Mitchem, who helped launch the company in 2009. “But from the time I stepped foot in that first little warehouse, I knew that this was a highly marketable concept. And David seemed like the kind of guy who was driven enough to make it happen. I was right on both counts, as it turns out.”
“While we can’t get specific on the exciting things we have in the queue for our clients, we do look forward to expanding our influence in the experiential marketing sector, as well as developing international partnerships to take what we’ve learned to global markets.” Campbell states. “We also have plans to roll out a range of shipping container products in the coming months based on the high demand we receive from fans and clients.”
