Pitchin for Wishes Cornhole Tourney
October 2, 2013

We recently had the pleasure of joining Andrew Roby and Harris Teeter for the sixth annual Pitchin for Wishes Cornhole Tournament benefiting Make-A-Wish® Central & Western North Carolina. Held in Charlotte’s Freedom Park, we provided two 20-foot hospitality suiteswhich were used as lounges to unwind and watch the tournament, or college football games on the flat screen TVs.
The Pitchin for Wishes tournament features an NCAA bracket-style bag-toss competition, as well as food, music and entertainment. The free event used proceeds from team registration, beer sales, and generous donations from sponsors to raise over $196,000. Cornhole players and spectators alike loved the Boxman suites, and event organizer Dominick Thompson of Andrew Roby said, “We really appreciate the support from Boxman and look forward to working with [their] team on projects in the future.” Thanks Dominick, the entire Boxman family had a great time and we can’t wait to do it again next year, hopefully after we’ve sharpened our cornhole skills.
