Finding the right vendor for your project
May 30, 2017

Before you tackle a big project, address a problem, or make a decision, you always want to have the full story at your disposal. One classic, tried-and-true way of getting said story is by answering the five W’s; who, what, when, where, and why.
Each of these W’s are important considerations, but when it comes to the decision, WHO you do business with is the most important factor. In fact, it may make or break the entire process altogether. The right vendor is one who is working long before any construction begins. They’re willing to go above and beyond, without letting the little important things go unnoticed. How do you start looking for a builder? How do you know if you’ve found the right one? Before you decide to do business with anyone, ask yourself these questions.
What are other people saying?
Talk to people. It’s the best way to learn about a company. Consider talking to former and current clients. What was their experience like? See they work they put out and the results they got because of it. What are people saying? Figure out how the company runs their business.
Do they have experience?
Determine if they have the capability and experience to match your needs. They should have dealt with companies and individuals in your industry. Find someone who will guide you through your build, help you make informed decisions, and get the most value out of your project.
Finally, do they deliver results?
The right builder keeps their word and lives by results. Find someone who is laser focused on getting the job done. Are they able to be flexible or custom? Are you able to achieve your unique goals and objectives by working with them?
Once you’ve narrowed down the best candidates, asking the right questions can help you further refine the decision-making process. Take the first step in creating something remarkable today.
